Dance School in Canterbury

Little did we realize, when my four year old daughter asked to “try some dancing”, that 8 years later, Next Generation Dance Studio would remain such an important part in our weekly lives! Daughter #2 joined in too and they have both LOVED the classes, summer schools, exams, festivals and shows, not to mention the friendships forged at this friendly school.

My daughter has been attending NGDS now  for nearly 4 years. When she wanted to dance I went straight to NGDS after being taught by Debra and our patron Mary in my childhood. My daughter has loved learning new routines for festivals, shows and has grown into such happy, confident performer who enjoys going to class each week.

Miss Debra is a dedicated and passionate teacher and Principal, supported by such a talented team. They all worked really hard to deliver virtual classes throughout the lockdown and my daughter is so looking forward to going back to real lessons in the autumn.

NGDS is more than just a dance school, its a family. My little girl joined at 2 and a half, she is now almost 7 and we haven’t looked back. The teachers are amazing and nurture her love of dance fantastically whilst ensuring that she builds upon her technique consistently through fun, engaging and memorable lessons. I could not find the words to recommend this dance family enough

My daughter has always loved to dance and joined NGDS to give it a try…7 years later she doesn’t just love dance – it is her life! She joined the Talent Quest Programme as it began and hasn’t looked back. She has made some of the best friends of her life; danced all over Kent and Paris (at Eurodisney) and grown in self confidence.

Debra and her amazing team of teachers have such a vast knowledge and experience that they can harbour and develop a talent for all forms of dance and performance. We both LOVE our dance family. Thank you
