Our TQP Classes

The NGDS TQP is a Programme designed to help students explore other Genre alongside their weekday Classes of Ballet, Modern and Tap. It includes Musical Theatre, Singing, Drama, Contemporary, Dance Acro, Performance Class. It has affectionately become known as TQP ‘Fun’ Friday and is a rewarding night for those children who have enjoyed and worked hard in their ballet, Modern and Tap during the week.

TQP gives extra performance opportunities and parents get offered a TQP Friday discount which also includes their regular weekday classes and affordable monthly payments.

  • Musical Theatre

    Musical Theatre is included in the NGDS Talent Quest Programme. (T.Q.P)

    It gives Students alongside their regular classes of Ballet, Modern and Tap an opportunity to work on their singing technique. It covers heels for Seniors and helps develop confidence and performance and approach their performances from an acting perspective.

  • Contemporary

    Contemporary is only included in the NGDS Talent Quest Programme. (T.Q.P)

    Contemporary is an evolving style. It requires a strong foundation from Ballet and Modern.

    The I.S.T.D. Modern Syllabus gives pupils an understanding of core strength which is required for Contemporary Dance.

    Next Generation’s Talent Quest Programme (TQP) incorporates Contemporary, touching on a variety of styles.

  • Dance Acro

    Dance Acro (Acrobatic Arts Program) is part of the Talent Quest Programme.

    This Class is designed to complement the Dance Students programme. This is not Gymnastics and the basic AcroDance skills will be taught to the pupils when appropriate. The movements will increase flexibility, reduce injury and create more technically correct work while executing their Dance Routines.
